Go Bucks!

Since we're on the topic of sports, I just want to take this opportunity to bring up the fact that the Buckeyes are going to whoop up on everyone this 2006 football season. Think I'm the only one who thinks this way? Don't just take my word, take theirs:

Buck Starts Here - Sports Illustrated

Buckeyes, Sooners lead post-spring Top 25 - ESPN

Ohio State Heads Preseason Top 25 in College Football - Rivals.com

You don't have to agree with the analysts, and you certainly don't have to agree with me. But we'll see who's right and who's wrong this season when the Bucks are marching it up all over the field.

Are The Buckeyes In Trouble Again?

ohiostadium.jpgWe don’t want to overstep our bounds here — no, really — but we’ve been hearing a pretty persistant rumor in recent days concerning the Ohio State football program. If the rumors are true, be on the lookout for potential sanctions against the Buckeyes, with the offenses ranging from taking tests for athletes to unauthorized payments (from whom we’re not sure; boosters, maybe).

In an even more potentially damning rumor, perhaps for all parties, the NCAA actually uncovered these violations and decided on punishment BEFORE the season started, but, according to a couple of sources, didn’t want to mess with television schedules. Hence, the delay.

Just rumors, as of now, but relatively solid sources. The real question: Will Brady Quinn’s sister change that uniform of hers now?

Big Brother,

Thank you for the compliment. I must confess, this post was indeed a sheer act of genius on my part. You had just better hope that I don't bring this same genius to the Hold'em table next week, otherwise you will be humiliated like you were a month ago...
